Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Leonor M. Briones announces the department’s preliminary preparation for vaccination of teachers against COVID 19.
DepEd is now coordinating with vaccine czar Carlito Galvez who initially told DepEd that the teachers will most likely to receive vaccine on the second quarter because they are currently satisfying vaccination commitments with the front liners.
Meanwhile,the department is currently pushing for a pilot testing for face-to-face classes in 1,576 selected schools
“We’d like to assure the parents na we will not involve the children in the pilot if they still have worries and concerns,” said Briones.
