Face-to-face seminar sa Zambales, nagresulta sa 22 COVID-19 positive cases

Iimbestigahan ng Department of Education (DepEd) sa Central Luzon ang isinagawang face-to-face seminar-workshop sa isang resort sa Iba, Zambales na nagresulta sa 22 COVID-19 positive cases.Napag-alamang inorganisa ito ng asosasyon ng mga school principals sa nabanggit na probinsya.

Ang nasabing seminar -workshop ay ginanap sa dalawang beach resort sa Iba,Zambales na nagresulta sa pagkakaroon ng 22 COVID-19 positive kung saan dumalo ang humigit-kumulang 300 na empleyado ng DepEd noong March 1-12. Ayon kay Dr. Noel Bueno,nagsimula ang COVID 19 virus sa guest speaker ng nasabing ganap.

Ipinahayag naman ng DepEd nitong ika-19 ng Marso na mayroon na silang binuong task-force upang alamin ang nangyari sa insidenteng ito.Iginiit din ng ahensya na hindi nila pinapayagan ang pagkakaroon ng mga face-to-face activities.



“The DepEd Regional Office 3 shall continuously monitor the compliance of all offices and schools this directive to ensure that the risks of COVID-19 transmission will be reduced if not eliminated as all teaching and non-teaching personnel continues serving in their respective stations,” said DepEd.

Nitong Biyernes, 15 empleyado ng DepEd at 7 manggagawa sa resort ang nagpositibo sa virus.
