What are Alphabet Flashcards?
According to wikipedia.org, a flashcard or flash card is a card bearing information on both sides, which is intended to be used as an aid in memorization. In this case, we are memorizing the alphabet letters, from a to z.
Moreover, flashcards are an application of the testing effect − the finding that long-term memory is increased when some learning period is devoted to retrieving the information through testing with proper feedback.
It is important for kids to develop their long term memories while they are still young. Using these flashcards will surely help in doing so. After all, “the more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” – Dr. Seuss
